Kathwren Jenkins: "One of my favorite subjects to paint is Exotic Birds. In fact, my very first book I wrote back in 1985 was titled: Exotic Birds. It was a wildly (no pun intended) successful book in print for over two decades. One of the paintings in that book was Roberto. He’s a very famous Rooster, having been painted in several paintings by myself and my husband Gary. We have taught Roberto many times and our students have painted and sold this little guy, over and over. For this packet, this is my new version of Roberto. Have fun painting him."
